This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday! Pentecost is the birthday of the church, when the Holy Spirit came upon the early church and marked the beginning of a new season in the church. It is a day of new beginnings and a new season in the early Christian church. We will talk about how at Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was a universal translator, bringing people of all languages and cultures together as one. Join us this Sunday to honor graduates from high school, college, and beyond and we will hear a special blessing from our educators and mentors who have walked alongside our youth and young adults. We will be focusing on this passage from Hebrews 12:1-2, Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race set before us. Our prayer is that our church can be a cloud of witnesses for our graduates as they prepare to run this race before them. Bulletin

This coming Sunday, we will be celebrating Trinity’s 10 year anniversary of becoming a Reconciling Congregation. Being reconciling is a commitment to being a fully inclusive church, especially for all LGBTQ+ people. We will be blessed to welcome Rev.
