A New Thing
A New Thing: Post Easter Sermon Series - May 4 - June 22, 2025: I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth; do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19)
We are hardwired to resist change and get hung up on the past. How do we move forward with hope and faith? How can we trust that God is indeed doing a new thing? Join us for our Spring sermon series: A New Thing.
This coming Sunday is Laity Sunday! As we continue our sermon series on “A New Thing”, we will be blessed to have members of our church share how they have experienced a new thing in their faith and in their lives. Worship with us Sunday at 11 AM both in-person and online! Bulletin
This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday! Pentecost is the birthday of the church, when the Holy Spirit came upon the early church and marked the beginning of a new season in the church. It is a day of new beginnings and a new season in the early Christian church. We will talk about how at Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was a universal translator, bringing people of all languages and cultures together as one. Don’t forget to wear red, and stay afterward for popsicles! Bulletin
Join us this Sunday to honor graduates from high school, college, and beyond and we will hear a special blessing from our educators and mentors who have walked alongside our youth and young adults. We will be focusing on this passage from Hebrews 12:1-2, Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race set before us. Our prayer is that our church can be a cloud of witnesses for our graduates as they prepare to run this race before them. Bulletin
