Silent Auction & Trivia Night
in support of our ASP Summer Mission Trip to West Virginia
Silent Auction & Trivia Night Fundraiser in Support of our 2026 ASP Summer Mission Trip: Join us Friday, April 17th at 7 PM in Trinity’s Fellowship Hall for a family-friendly evening of fun, friendly competition, and generosity at our Silent Auction & Trivia Night in support of the Appalachia Service Project summer mission trip! Test your knowledge with team trivia, bid on a variety of exciting auction items, purchase a cup to make your own “dirty soda” at our soda bar, and help make a meaningful difference as our youth and adult volunteers prepare to serve families in need. All proceeds will go directly toward supporting our mission trip and the vital home repair work our volunteers will undertake this summer. Bring your friends and family, form a team, and come ready to laugh, learn, and give back. Together we can help to make homes warmer, safer, and drier for our neighbors in central Appalachia! Questions contact, Kari Webber.
Support our ASP Mission Team By donating a silent auction basket, you're not just contributing items - you're offering critical repairs to raise homes out of substandard condition, empowering youth and adult volunteers to take on high-impact home repairs, and emphasizing service through mission trips for youth and adults of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
Themed gift baskets and entertainment packages are always crowd favorites, and every bid during the silent auction brings us closer to creating a brighter future to our friends in central Appalachia. Whether it's a fun night out, a relaxing self-care package, or something in-between, your basket donation will help us to fund our mission trip, infuse money into the local economy where we are assigned, and help build our relational ministry practice.
All basket donations should be delivered to Trinity UMC, 2911 Cameron Mills Rd., Alexandria, VA 22302 no later than end of day Wednesday, 15 April 2026.
Have a GREAT idea for a basket that isn't listed below? We are happy to offer it - with some limitations... Per the UMC's Book of Resolutions and Social Principles and guided by the Book of Discipline, we cannot offer lottery tickets/gambling baskets or alcohol-themed baskets. Additionally, Trinity is a nut-free church, we ask that nut products are not included in baskets. To sign up for a basket or contribute to a basket contact Kari Webber.
❋ What is Appalachia Service Project
Repairing Homes, Transforming Lives
ASP provides one of the most rewarding structured service opportunities in the nation — bringing thousands of volunteers from around the country to rural Central Appalachia to repair homes for low-income families.
Since 1969, we’ve made homes warmer, safer, and drier for families and provided transformational service experiences for volunteers. Each year, more than 15,000 volunteers serve with ASP, providing critical repairs for more than 350 families.
