Youth Group

Youth Group (6th-12th grade) meets in person Sunday from 5:30-7:30 PM beginning September 12th! We begin with a socially distant meal, play games and the break out into small groups of 6-8th and 9th-12 graders. We will learn, grow, serve, and have fun as the body of Christ. We are blessed to partner in Youth Group with Beverley Hills United Methodist Church. All are welcome to join!

Here, 2021-2022 Calendar, is a list of all our events for the year of 2021-2022. Mark them down now so you don't miss out on some fun events!

Confirmation 2021-2022

As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
-Joshua 24:15

One of the most important milestones in a 7th and 8th graders faith is confirmation!  Confirmation is a faith journey in the church to “confirm” your faith and to officially become a member of Trinity United Methodist Church!

For many 7th and 8th graders, you were baptized as an infant, and your parents took the baptismal vows on your behalf. As you become young adults, we invite you to now take on those baptismal vows for yourself and respond to God’s grace. In other words, you are claiming your faith as your own!  If you have not yet been baptized, we will invite you to be baptized as part of your confirmation.

At Trinity, this journey is for our 7th and 8th graders (there are also confirmation opportunities for our high school youth as well). Starting in January 2022, we will begin our Confirmation journey which will include Confirmation classes, field trips, service projects, a confirmation retreat, faith friends, and worship leadership.

Through the confirmation process, we will learn what we believe as Christians and as United Methodists, why we believe it, and how we are to live that out in our daily lives.  At the end of the journey, you will be invited to confirm your faith by responding to the grace of God available to us and promising to live as a person of faith.
