Caring Ministries
Ways in which we care for, reach out to, and extend God's love and grace
to those in and outside our church family.
Lodgings Mission: Lodgings Mission: Trinity families have participated for the past several years in a Family to Family program supporting the homeless families at Community Lodgings, which is a local program transitioning families from homelessness to independence and stability. Church families adopt a homeless family to provide them items indicated on a wish list of needed household/non-food items such as deodorant, toothpaste, detergent, paper products, etc. for one or more months a year. The idea is that the church family visits the homeless family and presents them with their wish list items. It was initially designed to provide the youngsters at Trinity an opportunity to share and participate in giving. If you are interested in helping with this project contact Erica Orozco at Community Lodgings: 703-549-4407 eorozco@communitylodgings.org. Community Lodgings was founded in 1987 by 8 area churches and provides support, teaching, training, and empowerment to the homeless.
