Children's Ministry

Infants through 5th grade

Sunday School (9:45-10:45am)

Preschool Class: 3 years - PreK. Meets in Room 209.

Godly Play: K - 2nd grade. Godly Play is multi-sensory and teaches children about the Bible, worship, religious language and tradition, all while helping them learn to express their faith and understanding of God. Meets in the Chapel upstairs.

BUZZ: 3rd - 5th grade. Buzz is an exciting curriculum that explores Biblical stories in a variety of interactive ways. Plan to talk about faith at home with the "take home" activities, which will lead you in some family time discussing the week's topic. Meets in room 202A.

During Worship
We find great joy in the presence of children during worship and therefore strongly encourage them to participate in and attend our entire worship service. Children's bulletins and activity bags are offered each Sunday. Children over the age of 9 are welcomed to serve as liturgist, leading the congregation in our opening prayer.

Time With Young Christians: A special time during the service is devoted to Trinity's Young Christians. The children gather at the altar for a message based on the theme of worship and then can choose to stay with their families in the sanctuary or, if desired, exit for Story Time.

Story Time - in room 209 for 3 years - 3rd grade. Led by a group of parents on a rotational schedule. Offerings include: arts & crafts, Christian videos, and playtime. Parents should pick up children following Worship. On Communion Sundays, children return to the Sanctuary for Communion. See our Google Doc for a list of Story Time Leaders.
